1 dead, 1 injured after house explosion in Granger



WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) — One person died and another person was injured after reports of a home explosion in Granger on Friday morning.

Multiple agencies in Williamson County responded to South Gabriel Street for the emergency call, which came in at approximately 9:50 a.m., according to the county.

“Two adults were in the home; an elderly man was transported by helicopter to the hospital and is in critical condition, while an adult woman was found deceased,” the county said.

The cause of the incident is being investigated by the Williamson County Fire Marshal’s Office.
