WATCH: Crews save unresponsive man in spinning boat on Florida lake

DELEON SPRINGS, Fla. (WFLA)— A man found unresponsive inside a boat, spinning in circles on Florida’s Lake Dias, was saved by Volusia Sheriff’s Office and Volusia County Fire Rescue.

Crews responded to the lake on Tuesday and spotted an unresponsive man on a boat that was driving in circles. VSO said they quickly came up with a plan to rescue him.

The video shows the crew moving in close enough for VCFR Activing Division Chief and Technical Rescue Deputy Team Leader John Kyp to jump on board and stop the boat.

The man was taken to shore for further treatment and is expected to make a full recovery.

No additional details were released.
