Only 28 games left. That’s it.

It always seems like there should be more after All-Star weekend since we’ve been conditioned to believe the break is the halfway point. It’s more like the two-thirds point.

The Knicks are sitting prettier than usual with 36 wins, their most at the break since 1973 (keep in mind that the 1973 All-Star Game was Jan. 23, a little closer to the season’s midpoint).

But they’re also third in the East with the NBA’s eighth-most difficult remaining schedule, according to Tankathon. So there’s plenty at stake for the stretch run — still room for this to go far enough in either direction — and Post Sports+ has identified the four most important questions:
