The Lightning enters the matchup with a record of 30-20-4 on the season, while the Canadiens have a record of 25-25-5. Tampa Bay sits third in the Atlantic Division heading into Sunday while Montreal is second to last in the same division, seventh overall.
Tampa Bay has been playing well as of late, winning its last three games, including most recently winning a high-scoring matchup against the Detroit Red Wings 6-3. Canadian forward Brandon Hagel scored two goals in the matchup to lead the way for the Lightning.

The Canadiens, meanwhile, have lost two games in a row heading into Sunday, most recently falling 6-3 against the Los Angeles Kings and 4-0 against the New Jersey Devils. Forward Alexandre Carrier had two assists and one goal in the defeat against Los Angeles.
