Investigation underway after 911 caller says they killed their roommate, WCSO says


WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) — The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide Friday just outside of the Georgetown city limits.

Deputies responded early Friday morning after a person reported to 911 that they “killed their roommate,” WCSO said in the release. The incident happened in a cul-de-sac in the 100 block of Jennifer Circle.

WCSO confirmed later Friday afternoon in a news release the name of the victim, who was identified as 36-year-old Megan Frances Hood, of Georgetown. The suspect was also identified as 34-year-old Amadeo Guillermo Arce, of Georgetown.

The investigation is still active as of Friday morning, WCSO said.
