Knicks fail to close out Pistons in painful Game 5 loss at MSG



The Knicks couldn’t seal the deal on Tuesday night at home.

In what was a at times a sloppy game, the Pistons came out victorious in a 106-103 win to force a Game 6.

Cade Cunningham and Ausar Thompson had 24 and 22 points, respectively, while six Knicks finished in double figures — but none finished with more than 19.

Game 6 will be in Detroit on Thursday.
