2 injured after shooting near Round Rock
AUSTIN (KXAN) — Two people were injured Thursday evening after a shooting just outside the city of Round Rock, according to the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office.
WCSO said deputies responded at approximately 8 p.m. to a report of a shooting in the 2200 block of Chandler Creek Road and found two people with gunshot wounds. Both people were taken to the hospital for treatment.
“Preliminary findings indicate that the two individuals were involved in a dispute that escalated, resulting in both parties being shot,” WCSO said.
The investigation into the incident remained ongoing as of Friday afternoon.
