Rollover crash caused by vehicle driving the wrong way with no lights at William Cannon, Brodie
AUSTIN (KXAN) — Several people were treated by medics after a crash in south Austin Saturday evening.
The Austin Fire Department said in a post on X that firefighters removed one person from an SUV that had rolled over after a high-speed collision.
The crash happened shortly before 9 p.m. at the intersection of William Cannon and Brodie Lane, according to AFD.
AFD told KXAN that the crash was caused by a vehicle going the wrong way with no lights on, causing the SUV to roll over.
AFD and Austin-Travis County EMS treated “several patients” on the scene, the post said.
ATCEMS took the person who was rescued to the hospital, per AFD. There was no available information about the person’s injuries.
