Dove Cameron Shares Emotional Message to Late Descendants Costar Cameron Boyce

Dove Cameron is keeping Cameron Boyce’s memory alive.

The actress paid a touching tribute to her late friend and Descendants costar, who tragically passed away in July 2019, as she marked what would have been his 26th birthday.

In a post on Instagram May 28, Dove shared a series of black-and-white pictures taken with Cameron, including a behind-the-scenes shot from the Disney Channel film series alongside Sofia Carson and Booboo Stewart. The photo carousel ended on a photo of a tattoo she got in Cameron’s memory, depicting a gun with a rose emerging from its muzzle.

“I still feel you all the time,” the 29-year-old wrote alongside the pics. “Catch you in the next life. Happy birthday. I love you.”

Sofia also honored Cameron’s life in a post of her own featuring a photo of the actor.

“Keep dancing in heaven, my Cam,” she wrote on Instagram. “Earth could never be the same without you.”
