Austin Pets Alive! hosts puppy adoption event

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Austin Pets Alive!, a nonprofit rescue in Austin, said it would host a puppy adoption event Sunday from noon to 2 p.m. at its Cesar Chavez and Tarrytown locations.

APA! said the Puppy Party Adoption Event would feature “some serious puppy cuteness.”

The nonprofit’s Tarrytown Dog Adoption location is at 3118 Windsor Road, and the Town Lake location is at 1156 W Cesar Chavez Street.

“Whether you want to adopt, foster, or get your puppy fix, it is a perfect time to stop by Austin Pets Alive!. Visiting these shelter pups helps support their socialization, and you might just meet your future best friend,” APA! said.

The nonprofit said other adoptable pets would also be available during the event, including cats, kittens and adult/senior dogs.

APA! said adoptions were on a first-come, first-served basis.
