Will There Be an Overcompensating Season 2? Here’s What Benito Skinner Has to Say

Benito Skinner has stacks on deck like he’s saving up for another season of Overcompensating.  

After the Prime Video comedy became an instant hit following its May 15 release, the series creator—a.k.a. Benny Drama—gave insight into a follow up. 

“No word yet,” Benito admitted to E! News in an exclusive interview at the Gotham Awards June 2. “But I feel optimistic and I’m ready to go.”

Rest assured, the 31-year-old is already cooking up ideas for his cast, which features Wally Baram, Mary Beth Barone, Adam DiMarco, Rish Shah and more. 

“I feel lucky that we could take our time with it,” he explained. “Because it’s TV we kind of get that time. There’s so much more within that experience of, as you’re tiptoeing out of the closet what does it look and things like that.”

And yes, Holmes’ Hailee will still be going f–king apes–t.

As he teased, “I need Spring Break with Hailee, like that’s heaven.”
