It’ll be the first-ever meeting between the Longhorns and Chanticleers.

Texas will face Baylor and Ohio State at the event. They’ll take on the Bears on Feb. 28 and the Buckeyes to conclude the tournament March 1. UTSA and Ole Miss will also play in the event, but won’t face the Longhorns.

Texas is coming off a 44-14 season and regular season Southeastern Conference championship. They faltered in the postseason, however, losing to UTSA twice in the Austin Regional.

It’s the 12th time Texas will play in the event, and the Longhorns are 16-17 all-time.
