Elle Fanning Heralds the Arrival of Duster Coats and Cardigans
(Also glad to see we’ve left the “not putting my arms through the sleeves because I’m at a fashion show” thing behind. That was a little obnoxious, no?)
In addition to making the rounds at Fashion Week, Fanning is currently on the cover of Vanity Fair with her sister Dakota, discussing their bond and their upcoming projects, including a juicy TV adaptation of Paris Hilton’s memoir.
Dakota recalled that during the Hilton sisters’ heyday, she and Elle were also stressed about their own portrayal in the media, telling the outlet, “Your biggest concern was being the worst dressed in the back of Us magazine. We’d always get them at the airport or in the nail salon. I’m nine, flipping [though pages] like, ‘Is my outfit on there?’ It was not, most of the time.”
These days she and Elle are definitely making best-of lists, one long-ass jacket at a time.
