A Night to Remember: This Intimate Dinner Party Celebrated the Women Who Are Leading the Way

Edmundson is defining the future of luxury travel with women top of mind as she oversees all aspects of Marriott International’s portfolio of luxury brands, including The Ritz-Carlton, Ritz-Carlton Reserve, Bulgari Hotels & Resorts, St. Regis Hotels & Resorts, Edition, The Luxury Collection, JW Marriott, and W Hotels. As Barry put it that evening: “Glamour creates spaces for women to be seen, celebrated, and supported. Marriott—through Tina’s visionary leadership—creates spaces for women to belong.”

The conversation that continued across one of New York City’s most exclusive tables was electric and meaningful, and touched on themes that are the building blocks of both Glamour and Marriott: sisterhood, community, and forging a path for the next generation. Guests were encouraged to “talk to someone new” and share not just their stories, but their boldest ambitions.

Among those seated at the dinner, which was prepared by Michelin-starred chef John Fraser, were an array of noteworthy female founders—plus, industry leaders across fashion, media, activism, and business. (To name just a few: award-winning journalist Gayle King, actor Joy Sunday, Herve Leger creative director Michelle Ochs, entrepreneur Olivia Palermo, Sotheby’s CCO Karina Sokolovsky, and Emily Essner, the president and COO of Saks Global.) Each brought a unique perspective to the table, for a dinner that was as diverse as it was dynamic.
