AFD fights automotive shop fire in central Austin



AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Austin Fire Department is attempting to put out a fire at an automotive shop in central Austin in the 2600 block of Buell Avenue. This is located near the intersection of Burnet Road and West Anderson Lane.

AFD crews reported the fire involved 75% of the roof, and they have deployed “hand lines for a defensive attack.”

The city of Austin fire incident page showed the call came in at 10:48 p.m. Tuesday.
