Britney Spears blasts ex Kevin Federline for ‘profiting off her’ again ahead of tell-all book release

Britney Spears is blasting ex-husband Kevin Federline for “profiting off her” again with his forthcoming tell-all.

“With news from Kevin’s book breaking, once again, he and others are profiting off her,” a rep for the Princess of Pop told Page Six in a statement.

“Sadly, it comes after child support has ended with Kevin,” the rep noted.

Federline — whose memoir, “You Thought You Knew,” hits bookshelves next week — received his last payment from Spears in November 2024 after their son Jayden James, now 19, turned 18. The exes are also parents to son Sean Preston, 20.

According to Spears’ rep, “all she cares about are her kids … and their well-being during this sensationalism.”

The rep also pointed out that the singer has already “detailed her journey in her memoir,” “The Woman in Me,” which came out in October 2023.

Spears, 43, went on to post a cryptic message on Instagram that read in part, “Honor thy mother and father, but always protect your heart. Only honor them if they have sacredly honored you!!! If not, you find a new family 🤷‍♀️😂😹.”

In excerpts from Federline’s book that have already been released, he expresses serious concerns about his ex-wife’s mental, emotional and physical state.

“The truth is, this situation with Britney feels like it’s racing toward something irreversible. It’s become impossible to pretend everything’s OK,” the former backup dancer, 47, writes.

“From where I sit, the clock is ticking, and we’re getting close to the 11th hour. Something bad is going to happen if things don’t change, and my biggest fear is that our sons will be left holding the pieces.”

Federline — who was married to Spears from October 2004 to July 2007 — goes on to recall a time when their kids allegedly told him they did not want to go back to their mom’s house because they were scared of her.

“They would awaken sometimes at night to find her standing silently in the doorway, watching them sleep– ‘Oh, you’re awake?’ — with a knife in her hand,” he claims, adding that she’d then “turn around and pad off without explanation.”

Federline insists he has “never, ever once been against Britney” and has only ever tried to help his sons have a great relationship with their mom.

“It’s hard because when I really reflect on everything that’s happened — my kids do not know the woman that I married,” he laments. “And I’ve spent two decades trying to bridge that gap.”

Following their divorce, Spears was placed under a controversial conservatorship that wasn’t terminated until November 2021.

Fans fear the suspected mental, emotional and physical damage done during that time has had lasting effects.

Amid her increasingly erratic social media activity, sources told Page Six that the Grammy winner is in fragile condition and living in filth — but refusing help.

A “really worried” Federline confirmed our reporting, telling “Entertainment Tonight” on Tuesday that Spears’ “erratic behavior” is worse than what outsiders see online and “10x worse than anything [he’s] said in [his] book.”

He confessed, “I’m absolutely — as a father — terrified that one day I might wake up and my sons are going to have to deal with the unimaginable.”
