Child injured in auto-pedestrian crash in Bee Cave, ATCEMS says



AUSTIN (KXAN) — A child was critically injured late Monday morning after being involved in a crash in Bee Cave, according to first responders.

Austin-Travis County EMS posted on social media at 10:30 a.m., saying the “auto vs pedestrian” crash occurred in the 12800 block of Hill Country Boulevard.

The address corresponds with the Hill Country Galleria shopping mall in Bee Cave.

ATCEMS said STAR Flight treated the child for critical injuries, then took the patient to Dell Children’s Medical Center.

Lake Travis Fire Rescue also responded to the scene, ATCEMS said.

No other information was released Monday.
