Comedians Kevin Ryan & H. Foley Prepping New ‘Are You Garbage?’ Special

EXCLUSIVE: Kevin Ryan and H. Foley, the comedians known for their podcast Are You Garbage?, will tape a new live version of the show in Tampa, FL on March 20th and 21st.

Are You Garbage? is a show where hosts Ryan and Foley sit down with your favorite comedians to find out if they grew up to be classy or if they’re just a big old piece of trash. Assessing the situation through their own blue-collar, middle-class points of view, the duo digs into the guests’ childhood and family dynamics to learn about their struggles and life lessons they’ve come to along their individual journeys.

Questions the hosts ask guests resemble the following:

Anyone in your family ever represent themselves in court?

Have you ever owned a snake, lizard or bird?

Do you call ground beef “hamburger meat?”

Anyone in your family have an above ground pool?

Have you ever given yourself a haircut?

Ever sat through a timeshare pitch?

Have you been on a cruise in the last 365 days?

Directed by Conor Kelley, a veteran comedy editor who has worked on Shane Gillis’ Tires and Beautiful Dogs, and produced by 3 Arts Entertainment & Tuddy Studios, the special follows up Are You Garbage: Route 66 Tour, another iteration of Are You Garbage? with a live audience, released last February.

On the decision to tape their latest hour in Florida, Ryan and Foley said, “Tampa has some of the best comedy crowds around. They can be a little rough and tumble but its right mix of blue collar, salt of the earth, and trash all mixed into one – which makes it perfect for the AYG live shows.”

While the Are You Garbage? guys may or may not be familiar to those in Hollywood proper, they’ve cultivated a major following for their podcast since its February 2020 launch, consistently ranking in the top 50 on comedy podcast charts. Notably, they also have a major Patreon following, ranking in the top 10 comedy campaigns on the direct-to-consumer platform with 22,000 subscribers bringing in $130k+/month.

Past guests on the pod have included Shane Gillis, Leanne Morgan, Nate Bargatze, Tom Segura, Tim Dillon, Bert Kreischer, Ms. Pat, and Jim Gaffigan, among many others.

Comedian H. Foley has appeared on Tires, The Jim Gaffigan Show, Full Frontal with Samantha Bee, Netflix’s Iron Fist, Gotham, Difficult People, Comedy Central, TBS, Fox, TV Land, Netflix, AXSTV, Hulu, and SiriusXM. He can regularly be seen performing in New York City and has also appeared in such films as Set It Up, Dish, Passaic and Night Comes On.

Foley’s creative partner Ryan has been seen performing in clubs all over PA, NJ, and NY. Both are repped by WME and 3 Arts Entertainment.
