Cynthia Erivo’s Met Gala 2025 Look Will Leave You Feeling Changed for Good

The Wicked star arrived at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art on May 5 in an outfit that may leave you feeling changed for good. For the event, Cynthia wore a custom Givenchy look consisting of a red and silver diamond flower-encrusted top, with black shorts and a black tulle train. (See more stars’ red carpet looks here.)

“I feel really majestic in this,” she told E!’s Zuri Hall at the 2025 Met Gala. “I’m really proud of this tonight. It’s special.”

And as always, she brought the magic with her nails—explaining that her manicurist Claws by Dior kicked off the artistry one day ahead of the gala.

“She started pulling from the accessories that you would have in a suit,” Cynthia explained. “So we have your pocket square, you have your tie, you have your button, and you have the lace, which is from the Rococo era. You have your pin stripes, and she just sort of put it all together.”
