Exclusive | Eric Chavez tells The Post what’s behind Mets’ brutal hitting woes

Chavez, one of the team’s two hitting coaches — he shares the position with the more analytics-minded Jeremy Barnes — is a self-proclaimed overreactor who wants things fixed yesterday. But he’s also come to understand the value of patience.
