Kris Boyd surprises Jets teammates with visit three weeks after being shot

The Jets had a surprise visitor Wednesday.

Cornerback Kris Boyd, who was shot in the abdomen on Nov. 16 outside a Manhattan restaurant, stopped by the training center to say hello to teammates, a source confirmed.

Boyd posted on social media a week ago that he had returned to the hospital “due to my health issues.” That had been the last update on his condition.

Boyd, 29, was initially listed in critical but stable condition after a gunman shot him outside of Asian fusion restaurant Sei Less on West 38th Street. The bullet lodged in Boyd’s lung.
