Man receives 10-year sentence after downtown Austin murder
AUSTIN (KXAN) — A man was sentenced June 2 after pleading guilty to a 2023 murder charge.
According to Travis County court documents, 57-year-old Hilario Adrian was sentenced to serve 10 years in prison as part of the plea deal.
The murder charge was related to the death of 41-year-old Jeffery Lewis, who was found with stab wounds in the 600 block of Congress Avenue on Dec. 10, 2023.
At the time of the murder, Adrian was out of jail on bond related to an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charge. He was arrested in April 2023 and released on bond in August 2023.
Adrian received a jail credit of 541 days toward his sentence, according to court documents.
As of Wednesday, Adrian remained booked in the Travis County Jail.
