MUAHS Awards Winners List From Make-Up Artists & Hair Stylists Guild (Updating Live)

The 2026 Make-Up Artists & Hair Stylists Guild Awards are being handed out tonight at the Westin Bonaventure, and Deadline is posting the winners as they are announced. See the list below.

Since the modern MUAHS Awards began in 2014, one of its marquee film winners for makeup or hair has gone on the claim the Best Makeup and Hairstyling Oscar every year except twice. The last time was in 2024, when the Academy Award went to Poor Thingswhich was up for two of the MUAHS awards but went home empty-handed. The only other time was in 2022, when The Eyes of Tammy Faye won the Oscar but was shut out at the MUAHS.

The MUAHS are handing out several special honors tonight. Two-time Emmy-winning makeup artist Greg Nelson and two-time Oscar-nominated hairstylist Judy Alexander Cory received the group’s 2026 Lifetime Achievement Awards, while Nickelodeon veteran Michael Johnston received the Vanguard Award.

In addition, Weapons Oscar nominee Amy Madigan received the Distinguished Artisan Award, the guild’s top career prize, presented by the movie’s make-up and hair team and director Zach Cregger.

IATSE Local 706’s awards honor outstanding achievements in the artistry and creativity of makeup artists and hair stylists. Nominations for calendar year 2025 span 20 categories across film, TV, music videos and live stage productions — which include Broadway, international theater and theme parks.

Here is the winners list so far. Check back as we keep adding to it.
