Orlando Bloom Shares Cryptic Message on “New Beginning” After Katy Perry Breakup
Orlando Bloom is on the path to healing.
Several days after news broke that the Pirates of the Caribbean star and fiancée Katy Perry had broken up after nine years together, the actor alluded to their split in multiple cryptic social media posts.
Quoting Buddha, Bloom posted to his Instagram Stories June 30, “Each day is a new beginning. What we do today is what matters most.”
The 48-year-old—who shares 4-year-old daughter Daisy Dove Bloom with the “Teenage Dream” singer and is also dad to son Flynn Bloom, 14, with ex Miranda Kerr—followed up with a daily encouragement from late Japanese Buddhist leader Daisaku Ikeda that read, “The important thing is to take that first step. Bravely overcoming one small fear gives you the courage to take on the next day.”
While neither star has publicly commented on the breakup, Perry did share insight into her headspace after the split with the help of one of Australia’s cutest animals.
