Panthers crush Oilers in Game 6 to capture second consecutive Stanley Cup


For the second year in a row, the Stanley Cup will be basking in the South Florida sunshine.

The Panthers captured the Cup with a 5-1 win over the Oilers in Game 6 on Tuesday night at Amerant Bank Arena, winning the series four games to two.

Sam Reinhart paced Florida with four goals, scoring the first, third, fourth and fifth goals of the night. Matthew Tkachuk netted the other.

Vasily Podkolzin scored the lone goal for Edmonton.

Sergei Bobrovsky made 28 saves for the Panthers.
