Police: Road closure in Cedar Park for gas leak repairs

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A gas leak near E New Hope Drive and County Road 180 in Cedar Park caused roads to be closed, according to the Cedar Park Police Department.

Police were at the scene assisting traffic for the gas leak. CPPD said westbound lanes of E New Hope Drive were closed from Cottonwood Creek Trail to 183A Toll while crews make repairs. 

Drivers were encouraged to avoid the area and expect delays.
