Selena Gomez’s Hair Evolution Over the Years

It’s hard to believe Selena Gomez has been on our television and movie screens for almost two decades. Over the years, the actor and singer has worn plenty of hair looks, trying everything from bobs to mermaid waves. The 33-year-old has never been shy when it comes to changing up her look. The result? An impressive vault of hair inspo.

This year, bridal looks were added to that collection. In September 2025, Gomez married music producer Benny Blanco and wore one of her favorite hairstyles, the Old Hollywood bob, for the big day. While she’s been pretty committed to short hair in recent years, Gomez has also been known to play with extensions, bangs, slicked-back styles, the occasional bleach, and every texture from silky straight to natural curls. She’s one the lucky few who looks good in just about any haircut—which means that there’s an inspiration shot for everyone in her archives.

Gomez’s marriage has us feeling especially nostalgic for her Disney Channel days (especially those side-swoop early aughts bangs) and our stroll down hair-memory lane reminded us just how much she’s accomplished in the last 18 years.
