Small plane crashes near Pflugerville

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A small plane crashed Friday morning near Pflugerville after it reportedly had engine failure, the Pflugerville Fire Department said

The two people on the plane didn’t report any injuries, officials said.

The plane was heading toward Austin Executive Airport for landing when the failure happened, Travis County ESD No. 12 said in a release.

Then, the pilot brought the plane down in a field on private property, the release said.

Firefighters, Travis County ESD No. 12 and STAR Flight responded around 10:43 a.m. to the 14000 block of Fuchs Grove Road in northeast Travis County for the crash.
