Texas investigating ‘potential violations’ during U.S. Masters Swimming event held in San Antonio

AUSTIN (KXAN) — On Monday, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton announced there would be an investigation into U.S. Masters Swimming.

According to the AG’s office, the investigation was for “potential violations of state law following reports that the organization allowed a male to compete in women’s events.”

The investigation referenced the event being investigated as the 2025 Spring Nationals swim meet held in San Antonio in April.

“The investigation will uncover documents related to U.S. Masters Swimming and determine if the organization engaged in false, deceptive, and misleading acts and practices,” the AG’s office said.
