Texas, Ohio State matchup officially 'Big Noon Kickoff' game, 5 other times announced

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Now’s the time to lock in those early tailgating plans to open the 2025 season.

The rematch of the College Football Playoff semifinals between the Texas Longhorns and the Ohio State Buckeyes is set for 11 a.m. CT, Aug. 30, as the “Big Noon Kickoff” featured game on FOX. Fans speculated that this would be the case when FOX was announced as the broadcast network, and they didn’t like it.
