VIDEO: Black liquid pours from ceiling near Austin airport ticket counter

AUSTIN (KXAN) — On Thursday, the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) experienced a black liquid leaking from the ceiling and air vents.
“We are responding to a water leak at the west side ticket counters. Our teams are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible,” the airport said.
The leak is near the British Airways ticket counters, which have been temporarily relocated to the east side of the terminal.
AUS said airport travelers should watch their steps and follow posted signage or instructions from staff.
“We appreciate your patience and will provide updates as needed,” the airport said.
