Grey-Sloan Memorial Hospital is bracing itself for another major threat.
In E! News’ exclusive sneak peek at the Grey’s Anatomy season 21 finale, airing May 15 on ABC, Dr. Amelia Shephard (Caterina Scorsone) and Dr. Simone Griffith (Alexis Floyd) are enthralled in a serious conversation about Simone’s recent breakup with Dr. Lucas Adams (Niko Terho), only for the two to be quickly interrupted as Jenna Gatlin (Becky O’Donohue)—a patient whose daughter Dylan was left paralyzed following brain surgery performed by Dr. Shephard—enters the room carting a large metal tank.
“This tank is full of acetylene,” Jenna says to the doctors in the clip, visibly shaken. “One exploded at my husband’s work site, and it took down half the building.”
And as Amelia inches forward to attempt to calm her down, Jenna issues an even more menacing threat.
“You’re gonna put your phone on the counter,” she tells Amelia, “and then you’re gonna operate on Dylan, and you’re going to fix her. And if you don’t—if you don’t save her, I’m taking everyone down with me.”
