WME Signs Henry Dunham, Filmmaker Behind A24’s Upcoming ‘Enemies’ Starring Austin Butler & Jeremy Allen White

EXCLUSIVE: Writer-director Henry Dunham has signed with WME for representation in all areas.

Most recently, Dunham was tapped to direct the crime thriller Enemies, starring Austin Butler, Jeremy Allen White, and Anna Sawai, for A24. He also wrote the film, heading into production in Chicago this summer, which watches as a relentless detective and an infamous contract killer collide in a deadly game of cat and mouse. Ari Aster and his Square Peg are set to produce.

Dunham has also recently been in business with A24 as the screenwriter of Bushido, a samurai action thriller set in feudal Japan, which Hiro Murai is set to direct, in his feature debut, as we were first to report. A24 will finance the project, in addition to producing alongside Square Peg and 2AM.

Dunham’s directorial debut The Standoff at Sparrow Creek, a critically acclaimed thriller shot in 18 days on a $450k budget, premiered at the Toronto Film Festival in 2018. The story follows a reclusive ex-cop who, after a mass shooting at a police funeral, must interrogate his fellow militia members in a secluded warehouse to uncover which of them is the killer, before the outside world closes in.

Dunham continues to be represented by Anonymous Content and attorney Stephen Clark of Lichter, Grossman, Nichols
