Zoë Kravitz’s Bitty Bob Is Peak Fall Chop Inspiration

Celebrity bob and pixie cut reveals have been a common red carpet theme this fall, and Zoë Kravitz just brought the best of both worlds.

We’ve grown accustomed to seeing the 36-year-old actor with effortless long hair looks: She’s worn everything from waist-length braids to heavy layers and often opts for natural texture over heavy styling. Over the weekend, she switched things up and attended the 2025 Academy Museum Gala with a brand new, itty-bitty bob.

Kravitz’s new cut couldn’t be fresher, with blunt, flicked out ends that barely reach below her ears. It’s so short that it’s almost in pixie territory, but still incorporates that romantic French bob shape. Emma Stone is currently wearing a similar look while growing out her super-short crop, and both celebs are proving that the ‘in-between’ haircut is trend-worthy on its own.

While Stone often opts for soft texture in her bob, Zoë Kravitz brought some signature edge to the style. She wore wore it sculptural and set-in-place, closely hugging her head, and added some wispy side-swept micro-bangs. To balance things out, she chose an extra voluminous Saint Laurent gown. Consider this look evidence that when it comes to red carpet styling, sleek hair and gigantic sleeves are always a killer combo.
