Three Astros pitchers combine for first MLB no-hitter since 2024

ARLINGTON, Texas — Tatsuya Imai and two Houston Astros relievers combine for first no-hitter in majors since 2024.

Imai walked four and struck out two Rangers over six innings before Steven Okert and Alimber Santa got through the final three frames.

Imai, who signed with the Astros this offseason after coming over from Japan, was removed after 97 pitches.

The Astros won 9-0 in Texas against their AL West rival and the highlight of what has otherwise been a frustrating season with the team sitting at 24-31.
